The Megabass Xlayer soft bait is fast becoming one of the most successful soft baits on the market.
In France, Ireland, USA and Japan countless big fish have fallen to xlayers.
Worked with a jig head or wobbled on and below the surface from shore, it seems to nail fish in many different situations. It has a built in small rattle and has a unique scent that the fish can't resist.
We have also used the xlayers boat fishing, using the drop shot method and it produces good fish time and time again.
Work this lure slowly with smooth lifts of the rod, bouncing through snags, or find the snags and twitch it over them.
This one is the classic OIKAWA, favoured by many of the top european professionals, which is dark green with glitter effect.
Just as effective as the AYU, if not more so. Ideal if you want to try another colour and need to be sure you will still catch!
